Turfgrass sod can be installed anytime of the year in the Pacific Northwest as long as the ground is not frozen.  Spring and fall provide the best conditions for rooting.  Summer months allow for installation of sod also but will require more water than during the cooler periods.

Sod is a perishable product and MUST be installed on the day of delivery.

Your lawn should be fertilized every 4 to 6 weeks during the growing season of February to November.

A slow release winterizing fertilizer is suggested or you can apply a 16-16-16 fertilizer.  Follow the rate indicated by the manufacturer.  We recommend winter fertilizing in November.

Keep the fertility rate up.  Fertilizing on a regular basis keeps your lawn healthy.  Fungus generally attacks unhealthy lawn.

Our sod requires a minimum of (4) hours of direct sunlight to survive.  For shaded areas we recommend alternative landscape design be considered.

There is 480 square feet per pallet.

So that our customers can make informed decisions we have implemented a pricing technique, which specifies a specific charge for the cost of the service, we provide. For example a separate and specific price for a square of turf, or if the customer chooses to have their turf delivered. Our advice to potential customers when calling to compare pricing with other suppliers do not be fooled by the marketing technique of inferring the word “free.”

Contractor and or Landscape pricing available when a valid business license number (UBI#) is provided. Washington State Sales Tax is applicable unless we have a valid and signed Department of revenue Resale Certificate on file with our administrative office.

Terms for all sales are either cash, local check or we accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover at the time of the delivery or field pickup. For a business that chooses to establish an account with submitting and having a credit application approved a monthly billing statement will be used in-conjunction with the total invoice charges for each month.

Yes, a pallet deposit fee will be added to each order of turf. This fee is refundable when the pallet(s) are returned to our business location in a serviceable condition.

To be considered must be made within 24 hours of delivery.

Our liability shall be limited to the replacement of any turf received in a defective condition and reported to us within 24 hours of receipt. We hereby disclaim all other warranties or liability.

Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance of scheduled delivery.
