History
Professional Turf Growers’ path has changed over the years, while our
commitment to family farming has remained the same. In 1968 Keith Boon
began dairy farming with the rich farmland and ideal location; the farm grew
over the years. In 1995 Keith decided to diversify some acreage from his
dairy farm into turf production. He met this challenge by growing the best
turf in the northwest.
After building on his early success, In 2016, Kim DeBruin and Tim DeBruin,
the next generation, purchased Professional Turf Growers. With a
commitment to the latest equipment, an experienced team, and hard work, the
farm has grown to over 140 acres.
Looking to expand the farm further, the third generation Landon DeBruin
manages a new crop of their grass seed. With over 100 acres in production,
improving their sod and ensuring sustainability for generations.
